Short answer

Quick answer: what can a marriage prediction by date of birth tell you?

A marriage prediction by date of birth draws on a few places in your kundli: the 7th house, the planet that rules it, Venus and the Navamsa (D9). Read together, they show whether marriage is promised, roughly when it arrives, what your spouse may be like and how the path unfolds. With your date, time and place of birth, the AI astrologer turns that into a personal marriage reading.

Chart factors

The parts of your kundli that describe marriage

The 7th house

This is the house of marriage and committed partnership. Its sign sets the tone, and the planets sitting in it or aspecting it add detail. A 7th house with Jupiter or Venus involved usually reads as easier ground. Saturn, Mars, Rahu or Ketu there don't block marriage, but they tend to add effort, delay or a less conventional route.

The 7th lord

The planet that rules your 7th house carries the marriage story wherever it goes in your chart. Placed in the 10th, it can link marriage with work or public life. In the 9th, family and elders tend to play a bigger part. Its strength and its dasha are central to both timing and the kind of partnership you build.

Venus

Venus is the karaka, or natural significator, of marriage and romance. Its sign, house and condition show how easily affection and commitment come to you. A dignified Venus often brings a smoother path. A strained Venus can mean you're more selective, or that relationships take longer to settle.

Navamsa (D9)

The Navamsa is the divisional chart traditionally read for marriage. It shows whether the promise in your main chart holds up on closer inspection. It also adds texture to spouse descriptions and helps explain why two people with similar birth charts can have very different married lives.

Dasha periods

Your Vimshottari dasha sequence is set by the Moon's position when you were born, so it is personal to you. Marriage tends to happen in the mahadasha or antardasha of a planet connected to the 7th house. That is often the single biggest reason one person marries at 23 and another at 34.

Jupiter and Saturn in transit

These two slow planets act as timing triggers. When both influence your 7th house, 7th lord, Lagna or Lagna lord during a supportive dasha, the marriage window gets much narrower. Neither transit does much alone if the dasha isn't already pointing towards marriage.

How marriage connects to the rest of your chart

Marriage rarely stands apart from the rest of life, and your chart reflects that. The 2nd house covers family and the new household you join or build. The 4th covers home and domestic peace, and the 5th covers romance and children. The 9th brings in parents, elders and tradition, which is why it often shows up in arranged marriages. Your 10th house and career timing can also affect when you feel ready. A good marriage reading looks at the 7th house in the context of all of these.

Common worries

Common marriage worries

Everyone around me is getting married

Comparison is one of the most common reasons people look at their chart. Two people of the same age can be running completely different dasha periods, so their marriage timing can differ by ten years or more with nothing wrong in either chart. Seeing your own sequence usually helps more than measuring yourself against friends or cousins.

Manglik worries

Being Manglik means Mars occupies certain houses in your chart, and it's common: counting from the Lagna alone, around 40% of charts qualify. It gets far more attention than its weight in a full reading deserves. Your 7th house, Venus and dasha periods say much more about marriage. For a specific match, compare both charts.

A chart that looks "difficult"

A Saturn or Rahu influence on the 7th house can sound alarming when you first read about it. In practice these placements usually describe a later, slower or unconventional route to marriage. The AI astrologer weighs every factor together, so a single placement never becomes the whole answer.

Scope of the reading

What This Reading Can and Can't Tell You

Can

  • How strongly marriage is promised in your chart
  • Which periods favour marriage, and whether it leans early or late
  • The temperament and values your spouse is likely to have
  • Whether your path leans towards love, arranged or a mix of both

Can't

  • Your spouse's name, caste, city or exact appearance
  • An exact wedding date
  • A guarantee that a particular relationship will end in marriage
  • Decisions that you, your partner and your families make

Worked example

Example: one chart, four marriage questions (fictional)

Not a real person's chart

Consider a fictional man with Gemini rising. Sagittarius sits on his 7th house, so Jupiter is his 7th lord. Jupiter is placed in his 5th house of romance, and Venus is well placed too, so marriage is clearly promised and there's a strong love element. His Navamsa confirms a stable 7th house. A Sagittarius 7th house points to a partner who is honest, independent and fond of learning. He's running Rahu mahadasha, and the Venus antardasha in his mid-twenties is the first real window; Jupiter's own mahadasha, starting at 30, is a second one. So from a single chart: marriage is promised, it leans towards a love match, the spouse is principled and independent, and there are two strong windows.

Questions people ask

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a marriage prediction by date of birth include?+

A full reading covers whether marriage is promised, the periods when it's most likely, what your spouse may be like, whether the route leans love or arranged, and what might be slowing things down. All of it comes from your 7th house, 7th lord, Venus, Navamsa and dasha periods. Your date, time and place of birth are needed to calculate them.

Can my kundli show my marriage future (shadi ki bhavishyavani)?+

It can show the tendencies, which is what most people mean by a marriage future. Your kundli describes how strongly marriage is indicated, its likely timing and the nature of the partnership. It can't script events or promise outcomes. Think of it as a map of favourable periods and patterns that you then act on.

Which house in the kundli is for marriage?+

The 7th house is the main house for marriage and long-term partnership. Astrologers also read the 2nd house for family life, the 5th for romance and the 9th for elders' involvement. The planet ruling the 7th house, called the 7th lord, matters as much as the house itself.

What if I don't know my exact birth time?+

Your Lagna, and so your 7th house, depends on birth time, so an unknown time makes marriage readings less precise. Check a birth certificate, hospital record or family memory first; even a time within half an hour helps. If you can't find it, a Prashna reading, which uses the moment you ask your question, is an alternative.

Is marriage prediction the same as kundli matching?+

No, they answer different questions. A marriage prediction reads your own chart for timing, spouse nature and the route to marriage. Kundli matching compares two people's charts, usually through guna milan, to judge compatibility. If you already have someone in mind, use both: your own reading for timing and a match for compatibility.

Does Darakaraka show my future spouse?+

In the Jaimini system, the Darakaraka is the planet with the lowest degree in your chart, and it is linked with the spouse. It's a useful extra lens, but most Vedic readings still start with the 7th house, 7th lord and Venus. You can find your Darakaraka with the free calculator and read it alongside your main marriage indications.

How is a woman's marriage chart read differently from a man's?+

The core factors are the same for everyone: the 7th house, 7th lord, Navamsa and dasha periods. Some traditional texts also give Jupiter extra weight as a significator of the husband in a woman's chart, while Venus is read for marriage in every chart. The AI astrologer considers both karakas when reading your chart.

Can a marriage prediction be wrong?+

Yes. Astrology describes tendencies, and life involves choices and circumstances a chart can't account for. Readings also depend on an accurate birth time. The most useful way to use a prediction is as guidance about favourable periods and patterns, not as a fixed outcome to wait for.

Astrology describes tendencies and favourable periods in your chart, it cannot guarantee outcomes. Your choices, effort and circumstances shape what actually happens.
